Vertical Training – 3 Key Aspects

In this article I will be going over the three main components that are critical to successful vertical training. Below is a list of the three main areas you need to focus on in order to achieve maximum explosion and increase your vertical dramatically.
The different variables in your vertical training program need to be working together in order to get the best results. One component of your vertical training leads into the next, as you start to improve each component you will start to notice how all the components build on each other giving you greater results. The way that it works is that when you have the different components of your vertical training program working together it will create what is called a synergy – meaning that the components working together as a whole give you far greater results that each of them working individually.

The First Vertical Training Component

The first vertical training program component you need to work on is your strength and your ability to generate force. There is more than one kind of strength when you are trying to increase your vertical. When you start working with a professional vertical training program you will learn to start working on what is called fast twitch muscle strength; which is not just being able to lift something up, but the ability to do so quickly.

The Second Vertical Training Component

The second vertical training program component you need to learn about and work on is quickness. When you have strength and quickness (how fast you can generate the force) it gives you that added explosion. The formula is very simple in theory, strength plus quickness equals explosion. So if you can generate excessive force and do it in a split second it will create vertical explosion. With any vertical training programs strength and quickness must be the top two areas of focus.

The Third Vertical Training Component

The third vertical training component is neurological recruitment which I suspect you may not of heard of. Basically while you do any kind of exercise, your body recruits a certain amount of muscle fibres and does it in a certain way which enables you to generate the force and quickness required for explosion. With the correct type of vertical training program you can learn to train your body to recruit more of these muscle fibres and recruit them much quicker.
If you’re serious about increasing your vertical you need to be working with a proven vertical training program, the saying “train smarter not harder” is critical if you want to get rapid results. There are so many things that you could be targeting to help you achieve faster vertical explosion results.
Do you want to learn how to jump higher? I have put several vertical training programs to the test and only one of them understands the correct principles and training required to get rapid results. The number one vertical training program available today is called the Jump Manual and it is created by a guy called Jacob Hiller who is a pioneer and leader of vertical explosion training. Jacob is very passionate about getting results and fast. He works alongside numerous professional athletes including NBA , college and Olympic stars, his knowledge and experience is un rivalled.
